November 27th, 1942 - March 14th, 2017
Obituary Sullivan, Connie Virginia went to be with her Heavenly Father on March 14, 2017 after loosing her battle to multiple meylona cancer. Connie was born November 27, 1942 in Valesa, Iowa to Darrel and Maxine Wilkinson. She was raised in Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas and finally her beloved Colorado. She graduated from Brighton High in Brighton, Colorado in 1961 but always considered Palmer High in Monument, Colorado her class. She also attended business school in Denver, Colorado. She worked at many different jobs but her love was in the travel business. She met her husband, Harry Sullivan, in 1963 and they were married at Fort Gordon, GA. on June 13, 1964 where he was stationed in the Army. Several months later she followed him to his new station in Germany where she fell in love with traveling and seeing the wonders of God's creation. In 1972 they built a home in Monument, Colorado and have lived there ever since. In 1989 she started her own safari company taking people to Africa. In 2010 she had to close her company down because of her cancer.
