All-States Cremation - Centennial
Connie Darlene Whetstone
June 8th, 1948 - November 13th, 2021
Connie Darlene Shipman Whetstone, 73, died November 13th, 2021 in her home surrounded by her loving family after battling kidney cancer. She was born in Artesia, New Mexico. She moved to Colorado where she was a flight attendant for a short time. She began working for Mission Viejo in the 1970's and retired in 2005 from Shea Homes. She lived in Highlands Ranch, Colorado with her husband Richard Whetstone whom she married in 1972. They have two successful children, daughter Kimberly, and Oncology Nurse, and son Matthew, a Denver Police Officer. She has a wonderful, sweet daughter-in-law Crista and a beautiful, very energetic grandson Easton whom she adored. She was so proud of her family. Connie is preceded in death by her parents Wayne and Pauline Shipman, two sisters Lucinda Shipman and Sharla Bowman, a nephew Eric Flores and father-in-law Dean Whetstone, whom will all be there to greet her and welcome her to Heaven. She is survived by her brother Buddy Shipman and wife Carolann, sister Rhonda shipman-Heil and husband Jim, mother-in-law Ruth Whetstone, sister-in-law Janet Miller and husband Steve, as well as many nephews and nieces. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her family and friends and oh yeah, her grand dogs. The love in our family flows strong and deep. Leaving us memories to treasure and keep. May the winds of Heaven blow softly and whisper in your ear, how much we loved you and miss you and wish that you were here.
