Conor Robert Dillon
December 2nd, 1983 - August 6th, 2019
Tribute It is with deepest sorrow that the family of, Conor Robert Dillon, announces his sudden passing on August 6, 2019, at the age of 35. Conor will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Madelyn Dillon, sister, Adria Dillon and grandparents, Ernie and Angie Fusco. He will also be forever remembered by aunts, uncles, cousins, his niece and nephew, his girlfriend, and many friends and colleagues. Conor was preceded in death by his father, Jeffrey Dillon. Conor had a natural talent for metal fabrication and worked at his father’s business for many years. Conor designed and built unique and beautiful pieces of furniture crafted out of metal and wood that stand as testaments to his skill. He was an excellent problem solver, whether it was figuring out house repairs, computer issues, or anything you needed to have built or fixed. If you were stranded on a desert island with Conor, you’d survive. He loved snowboarding, traveling, and could drive a golf ball with ease and precision. While camping in our beautiful mountains, Conor explored trails and backcountry usually listening to music with a big grin on his face. Conor was passionate about all art—architecture, calligraphy, drawing, graphic, painting, photography, sculpture. He was excited to be pursuing a graphic design certification and was excelling in the program. Some of Conor’s recently completed artwork illustrated his insight and showcased his personal evolution and sensitivity to circumstances and struggles. Conor was tall and strong and gave hugs that made you feel safe and protected but most of all loved. Conor’s honesty and understanding made it easy to be around him, and you always felt free to share your sorrows as well as your joys. He was lighthearted and we would often hear his infectious laughter as he played with his niece and nephew, whom he cherished. We will remember Conor as someone with a great capacity for goodness and joy whose life ended too soon. We will hold him forever in our loving embrace. Every day. Every moment. Every minute. Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes. Because for those who love with heart and soul there is no such thing as separation. ― Rumi A celebration of Conor’s life will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 11:00am at First Christian Reformed Church, 1814 S.
