Conor Sharp

Conor Andrew Sharp, age 19, of Kingsport, TN, formerly of Flushing, MI, went home to be with the Lord, on Friday, November 4, 2016. He accepted the Lord as his Savior as a child while attending church in Brevard, NC. He was a 2015 Cum-Laude graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School where he was active in the BETA Club and Radio Club. He was currently enrolled as a sophomore at Berea College in Berea, KY, where he had planned to earn a degree in law. He was a self-taught guitarist and enjoyed helping others learn. He attended Northeast Church of Christ in Kingsport and assisted in helping others learn music. He was a loving son, brother, grandson and precious friend to all those who love him. He will be greatly missed. Left to cherish his memory are his father, Shaun O'Hara and wife, Michele; mother, Katrina Sharp Rowland; 3 brothers, Christian Rowland, Alexander Rowland and Elijah Rowland; step- brother, Brandon Calhoun; step-sister, Kayla Calhoun; paternal grandparents, Elton and Judy O'Hara and Alicia and Hugh Root; maternal grandmother, Ila Sharp; several aunts, uncles and cousins and a host of special friends. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm on Friday, November 11, 2016 at Northeast Church of Christ in Kingsport. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 6:00 pm with Minister Jay Cline, officiating. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport, is proudly serving the Sharp/O'Hara family.
