Conrad 'Nick' E. Nickels Resident of Danville October 8, 1944 April 9, 2015 Nick was born in Canton, OH and graduated from Glenwood High School. He completed undergraduate studies and played football at the Ohio State prior to enlisting in the Navy, where he earned his A.A. in Electronics. He then went on to graduate from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Business Administration. Nick served in the Navy for 9 years, including two tours in Vietnam and time in the Naval reserve. Nicks passion was his work, where he enjoyed a 40 year career in electronics and analytical instrumentation, holding roles of Corporate Officer and CEO. During this time he earned his M.B.A from St. Marys College. Nick is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Andrea; his brothers John Nickels of Walnut Creek, Bill and wife Charlene Nickels of Sacramento; mother Betty Nickels; sister Pam and husband Dan Novak of Canton OH and many loving nieces and nephews. Nick will be greatly missed by his family and friends for his love, caring and generosity, jovial spirit and sense of humor. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) www.dav.org . Friends and family are invited to a celebration of life service on Friday, April 17 at 1:00 PM at Oak Park Hills Chapel at 3111 N. Main St. Walnut Creek.
