Constance ""Connie"" Ann Barnes

Constance "Connie" A. Barnes, 73, of Jefferson, died on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek. She was born on July 3, 1945, in Watertown, the daughter of the late Curtis and Cora (Geissler) Peterson. She was most recently employed by Jones Dairy Farm in Fort Atkinson for nearly sixteen years and previously at Friskies and Borg Textiles in Jefferson. She enjoyed golfing, quilting, tropical vacations, gambling trips, watching the Packers, and visiting her “grandcats”. Survivors include one daughter, Jennifer Kenyon of Fort Atkinson; three brothers, Clinton (Janet Garvert), Curt (Mary) and Craig Peterson, all of Fort Atkinson; close friends, Lynn Roloff and Maryann Burkhardt; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She also was preceded in death by her sister, Carol "Bitz" Kutz. At Connie’s request, no services will be held. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Connie’s honor to the Jefferson County Humane Society. A special thank you to Rainbow Hospice for their loving care.
