Constance "Connie" Kay Jackson
July 4th, 1933 - October 27th, 2021
Warner Robins, Georgia – Constance “Connie” Kay Jackson, 88, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, with her beloved family at her bedside. A visitation with family and friends will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. A Funeral Service honoring the life of Connie will be held Saturday, October 30, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Christ United Methodist Church. Immediately following the service Connie will be laid to rest at Parkway Memorial Gardens. Connie was born on July 4, 1933, in Omaha, Nebraska to the late Vincent and Mercedes Saitta. Connie was a devoted wife and mother who adored her children and grandchildren. She was full of wisdom, which she would willingly pass on to others. In Connie’s free time she could oftentimes be found square dancing, cooking her world-famous “Sticky buns”, and sewing beautiful creations. She will forever be remembered as a strong, kindhearted woman who loved the Lord and served him with all of her soul, mind, and strength. In addition to her parents, there waiting for her at the gates of heaven, is her beloved husband, Jerry Jackson and her great-granddaughter, Emma. Left to cherish her beautiful memory is her beloved children, Karen Avant (James), Claudia Barnes; grandchildren, April Westmoreland, Amy Isaacs, Spencer Barnes, Jeffrey Avant, Lance Haynes; stepgrandchildren, Matt Avant, and Eric Avant. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, 2 step-great grandchildren, and a host of extended family members. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully asks that donations be made to the Houston Medical Center Auxillary,1601 Watson Blvd, Warner Robins, GA 31093 or to Christ United Methodist Church, 511 Russell Pkwy, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
