Perry Myrsiades Obituary Constantine Perecles “Perry” Myrsiades, born in Waterloo, Iowa on October 25, 1940, passed away quietly in his sleep on November 29, 2022, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. In his youth, Perry was active in sports and was a member of the high school wrestling and football teams. After graduation, he worked at the family restaurant, branched out to manage stores in a restaurant chain, and eventually started his own small advertising business. He also served his country in the United States Marine reserves. Perry had a warm smile, an inviting laugh and became fast friends with those he encountered. He often had a joke to share, and if you happened to have bare feet, he would eagerly ‘read your toes,’ telling your character and personality much like a horoscope. Perry enjoyed the outdoors spending time gardening, skiing, jogging, and his favorite: fishing. He would take anyone along for a lakeside adventure and happily share his secrets to a successful catch. One consistent passion Perry had throughout his life was dancing. The dance floor was the place he truly excelled, found love, and made many friends. Perry is survived by his four children: Tina Myrsiades of Aurora, CO (sons Jacob and Isaac), Nicky Alden of Englewood, CO (husband Stuart), Deana Shappell of Brighton, CO (husband Andy, daughters Megan and Marlee), Chad Myrsiades of Owasso, OK (wife Maryjane, sons Garris and Gray); as well as his sister Mary Scaros and brother Tom Myrsiades and their families, and longtime partner Lolly Miller. He was predeceased by his parents Elias and Irene. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023, 2:00pm at Aspen Lakewood Chapel, 1350 Simms Street, Lakewood, CO 80401. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer's Association or Mountain Vista Senior Living Community.
