Mementos

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Constantino “Jim” Ramos. Born on June 10, 1951, Jim departed this world to be with Jesus on September 3, 2024, at the age of 73, after a courageous battle with illness.

A native of Longmont, Jim's early years were marked by a love for fishing at Izaak Walton Park, a testament to his deep connection with nature and the outdoors. His sense of duty and bravery led him to serve his country in the Vietnam War, and his commitment to public service continued as he dedicated 26 years to a distinguished career as a Longmont police officer.

Jim's life was defined by his compassion and gentle spirit. He was a devoted father to two children and shared 48 years of love and partnership with his wife. As a twin and a brother to seven siblings, he valued family deeply and will be remembered for his unwavering support and kindness.

Jim's legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched with his generosity and warmth. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Rest in peace, in the ever-loving arms of Jesus. Your love and spirit will forever be in our hearts.

The surviving family members are: his wife Virginia Ramos, son Joshua Ramos (Monica), son Philip Ramos, granddaughters Eva Ramos, Sophia Ramos, Grandsons Philip Ramos, Daniel Ramos, and Ethan Fouch. Siblings: Brothers Felipe Ramos (Monica), Mario Ramos (Vickie), Gabriel Ramos (Linda), sisters Claudia Chavez, Marie Hair (Mac), Suzan Lucero (Pablo), numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Deceased family members are: mother Simona Ramos and twin brother Robert Ramos.

A celebration of life will be held at Rocky Mountain Christian Church, 9447 Niwot Rd, Longmont, CO 80503 on September 16, at 9:30am. Graveside service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery, 620 11th Ave, Longmont, CO 80501 at 11:00am. Reception will be at Sandstone Ranch Park, under the large pavilions, 3001 E Hwy 119, Longmont, CO, 80504, following the graveside service.
