Cora Marie Berry

Cora Marie Berry, 66, of Fort Hunter, New York passed away November 6, 2022, at St Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam, New York. She was born on February 23, 1956 to Charles Covey and Sylvia Thompson Covey of Connecticut. As a child Cora relocated to New York with her family where she attended and graduated from Walton High School in Walton, NY. She was employed by St Mary's Hospital as a Secretary until her retirement in February of 2021. She was united in marriage to Edward "Beaver" Berry on August 9, 2007. Cora enjoyed being outside, especially in her garden and while enjoying her pool. She loved animals, especially her goats. She will be remembered for her kindness and consideration; she never forgot a birthday or anniversary and loved to send cards to her friends and family. She is survived by her husband of 15 years Edward "Beaver" Berry, her daughter Jessica (Harold) Bellinger, and son Deryl (Tina) Covey, siblings; Asa Covey, Cheryl Scott Covey and Carrie Covey as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her siblings Tom Covey and Carol Sawyer. As Service of Remembrance will take place on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 11:00AM at Jackson and Betz Funeral Home 15 Main St Fultonville, NY. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, November 19 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at Jackson and Betz Funeral Home prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
