Corey Frederick Goldman, age 69, a 19 year resident of Las Vegas, died Sunday, January 31, 2016. Corey was born October 11, 1946 in Chicago IL to Marjorie and the late Rudolph Goldman. Corey earned a Master's Degree in Special Education and taught for three years, before starting a careen in pharmaceutical sales. He also owned a hardware store in California. Corey had many varied interests, among them he was a sommelier and an amateur boxing judge. He was also a huge fan of the Chicago Bears. Even though he was a questionable cook, his love of entertaining and being around friends and family led him to hosting many barbecues. Corey was a great friend and an even better father. Corey was a member of Congregation P'nai Tikvah. He is survived by his children Brittany and Sheri Goldman; his mother Marjorie Goldman; brother Allan Goldman; and his sister Diane Sobel. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Mount Sinai Memorial Park, Los Angeles CA. Contributions in Corey's memory may be made to Nathan Adelson Hospice.

Corey was truly a gentleman, kind, honest and sincere. I am blessed to have known him, I only wish I could have known him longer. He will be missed. He loved his family and was a very proud dad. I will always remember Monday's with Corey. My sincere condolences to his family, especially Brittany and Sheri. Melinda
