Corey Edward Self-Shearer

Corey Edward Self-Shearer passed away Friday, August 5, 2022 in Sacramento, CA at the age of 20 years old. He was born in Jackson, CA on December 3, 2001, a son of Crystal Dawn (Self) and Ricky Lowell Shearer Jr. Corey is survived by his mother, Crystal Shearer of Ione, CA; father, Ricky Shearer of Ione, CA; Sisters, Madison, Makenzie, and Reanna; Grandparents, Kent and Traci Marhefka of Jackson, CA, Elza Self of Oregon, and Patricia West of Ione, CA; great grandparents, Paul and Audrey Kinser of Rio Vista, CA and Clara Hawkins of West Point, CA; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Corey grew up in Amador County and attended Amador and Argonaut Highschool. He enjoyed playing all sports, excelling especially in football, as well as being outdoors and fishing. Corey was passionate about connecting with family and had an unashamed personality. A Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at Daneri Mortuary in Jackson, CA.
