Corinne Victoria Nelson
June 10th, 2021 - February 7th, 2023
On Tuesday, February 7, 2023, Corinne Victoria Nelson, a beloved daughter, passed away. She was 19 months old. Born to Harry Nelson and Abigail Keys-Nelson, Corinne defied all odds and expectations others set for her life. Although her time with us was brief, she lived a happy and loving life, surrounded every single moment by people who fiercely cherished and protected her. Corinne’s parents were her strongest advocates and moved heaven and earth to give her the best chance at life. Their approach to loving Corinne was that as long as she was able to fight, they would keep fighting with her. It was understood that Corinne would let them know when her fight was over. Corinne lived life on her own terms, clearly communicated her wants and desires, and everyone else fell in line. Corinne enjoyed playing with her drum, eating ice cream, and being held by her parents, grandparents, and loved ones. Her favorite pastime was staring at her parents, sucking on her fingers, playing with the blinds, and kicking anything and anybody within her reach. Her sweet smile and laughter lit up every room. Throughout her time with us, Corinne filled so many lives with joy and love. Corinne will be forever remembered and loved by her parents, Harry, III and Abigail, paternal grandparents, Harry, Jr. and Pameolin, maternal grandparents, Rhenzi and Deborah, paternal great-grandmother, Esther, maternal great-grandmother Ella, paternal aunt and uncle, Eleisha and Rick, and maternal aunts and uncles, Camille and Mark and Lydia and Victor, paternal cousins, Donovan and Carter, and maternal cousins Jackson, Claire, Emery and Titan, and many other family members and friends. A visitation will be 10am-11am Wed. Feb. 15, 2023 at Clark Legacy Center - Brannon Crossing followed by a service at 11am. A reception will follow the service.
