Corrine Rae Carter went to be with her husband, Roger Dean Carter on February 16, 2017. Corrine was born on March 27, 1940 in Englewood, Colorado to Philip and Anna Vander Hoek. She had 6 brothers and sisters, Donald, Phyllis, Marjorie, Patricia, Gerald, and Bud. She graduated from Englewood High School in 1958, and worked at the First National Bank of Englewood. She married Roger Dean Carter on May 5, 1961 at First Reformed Church in Denver, Colorado. She had 3 children with Roger, Joyce Lynn (Paul) Peters, Karen Rae Carter, and Robert Philip (Jaydean) Carter. She had six grand-children; Bradley James Canaan, Alissa Karen Ann (Tyson) Owenson, Robert Eric Carter, Philip Charles Carter, Anna Grace Carter, Roberta Ireland Rae McGrath. She had four great-grandchildren; Reese Columbia Canaan; Cael Roger Canaan, Aspen Lorraine Canaan, and Jakson Dean Owenson. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 10:30a.m., Aspen Memorial Chapel, 1350 Simms Street, Lakewood. Interment will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 1:00p.m., Staging Area A. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Franklin Graham's Samaritans Purse. https://www.samaritanspurse.org/
