Corrine McRoy, age 81, of Moore Haven, passed away December 8, 2021 in Lake Placid. Corrine was born on February 14, 1940 in Sebring, Florida to the late Harvey and the late Lettie Keen Waldron. She married Jerry McRoy. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to everyone who knew and loved her. Corrine leaves behind her loving husband Jerry McRoy of Moore Haven, Florida, children; Alicia Woodley and her husband Jerry of Lehigh Acres, Florida, Jonathan McRoy and his wife Amanda of Moore Haven, Florida, Shannon McRoy of Perry, Florida, five grandchildren, two brothers; Jerry Waldron of Bonifay, Florida and John Waldron and his wife Brenda of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, along with many extended family members and friends. Celebration of Corrine’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at the Ortona Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Danny Williams and Mr. John Waldron officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, December 13, 2021 at the Akin-Davis Funeral Home – LaBelle.
