Cory Dee Christensen

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cory Christensen of Arvada, CO on February 21, 2023. Cory was born to Randall and Dianne Christensen in Wheat Ridge, CO on November 8, 1970. He is survived by his wife Jennifer, his son Dylan (Ryann), his daughter Kaitlyn (Kyle), his parents Randall and Dianne, his sister Sunda, and his niece, Lily and nephews; Blake and Jake. Cory graduated from Arvada West HS in 1989 and immediately entered his 34-year HVAC career. He taught at CITC, a trade college, for the last four years where he found his passion in mentoring and sharing his love of his trade. Cory loved spending time with his family, riding his motorcycle, taking scenic photographs, vacationing, and most of all giving back to his community in many ways. The family will have a private gathering to spread his ashes in the Colorado mountains where he spent much of his free time; fishing, camping, ATVing, and 4-wheel driving. To honor Cory, the family is asking for donations to CITC through their Go-Fund Me page. These donations will be used to support Cory’s overall mission of seeing his HVAC students succeed in a field that gave him much success and fulfillment.
