Cory Brian Ralston
May 12th, 1961 - January 21st, 2015
Cory Ralston was born May 12, 1961 to William and Virginia Ralston in Portland, Oregon. Cory graduated from Centennial High School in Portland in 1979. He lived in Portland and Gresham his whole life. Cory married Julie Tooker in 1997 and had a son together, Justin, age 13. Cory was the youngest of 5 children, spread out over the 1940's, 50's, and 60's. Siblings are Bill Ralston, Pam Ralston, Penny Ralston Schultz, and Scott Ralston. He had dozens of nieces and nephews; Uncle Cory was a favorite with them all. Cory was a lover of cars and anything with motors. He worked for various auto dealerships selling parts, two decades at Ron Tonkin Dealerships and most recently at Dick Hannah Dealerships. He had many friends that go way back to childhood and many from work and his customers over the years. Cory could recite a car part number and all the license plate numbers of every car he owned without even thinking about it. His favorite car was the Corvette which he owned a handful of them over the years. Cory was the go-to-guy with his friends and family when they needed help with their cars and whatever else they needed. Cory and his family enjoyed vacationing in Hawaii. Cory was an awesome Dad to Justin and instilled in him the love of cars, fishing, and golfing. Justin has Cory's quirky sense of humor and appreciation of the good things in life. If you do not wish to send flowers, friends of the family have set up a GoFundMe account to help with the final expenses. Cory loved dogs, so Justin picked out a charity, Family Dogs New Life, a no kill shelter. http://www.gofundme.com/kn93e4 http://www.familydogsnewlife.org Service Information
