Courtney Diane Smith, 20, of Nampa/Homedale, died Sunday, September 5th, at home after her life long battle with Cystic Fibrosis. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September, 10th at the Marsing-Homedale Cemetery. Courtney was born August 9, 1990 in LaGrande, Oregon. A daughter of Michael Martin, and Lisa Gerlach Lentfer. At the age of 4yr. Lisa and Courtney moved to Homedale, with Courtney's loving step-father Dennis Lentfer, where she attended school. She met Kevin Smith in the summer of 2004 they married on November 2, 2009 in Nampa. Courtney enjoyed the company and taking care of her 2 beautiful children along with shopping and so many other things. The last 9 months of Courtney's life were very difficult for her as her health declined so rapidly. Even through those tough 9 months you could always find a smile on her beautiful face, no matter how bad of a day she was experiencing. Courtney is survived by her husband Kevin, a daughter Sophia, a son Remington. 3 sisters, Allison Elfring, Theresa Knowles, and Tanis Lentfer also a brother Travis Martin, step-father Dennis Lentfer and grandmother Marilyn Gerlach. She was proceeded in death by both biological parents, and also her grandfather's Charles Gerlach and Harold Martin, and Grandmother Maureen Martin. Service Information
