Simplicity: Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services - Ladson
Craig E Foster
January 19th, 1973 - September 24th, 2021
Craig E. Foster 48, resident of Summerville, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Friday September 24, 2021. Craig was born January 19, 1973 in Fort Riley, Kansas. He is the second child of Dale and Peggy (Mitchum) Cribb. Craig attended Summerville High School and after graduating, earned his Associates Degree in Criminal Justice at Trident Technical College in North Charleston in 1992. In his early 20's, he held many managerial positions; and at the age of 25, began industrial and residential painting, leading to the establishment and operation of his own painting business. Craig was fun-loving and enjoyed playing many games including card games, Scrabble, Chess, bowling, and most recently Words With Friends. He especially loved playing pool and his skills for the game won him several trophies. Craig was an excellent writer and loved engaging in meaningful conversations. Craig was a loving husband, son, brother, friend, and servant of God. He was known for his genuine smile, caring heart, and compassion for others. He had a sincere concern for those he loved, and would have given the very shirt off his back for any friend in need. Craig leaves behind his wife and love of his life, Elizabeth M. (Newman) Foster; they were wed June 03, 2000; in addition to his three adopted kitties Samson, Miles, and Sascha. Also surviving are his parents Stoney B. and Peggy A. Cribb, his older sister Jenny L. and brother-in-law Bob Matthews, his two nephews Nathan and Alex Matthews, his younger sister Emily G. Cribb, and his lifetime family friend who was like a sister Tina Smith Fisher. Craig was preceded in death by his Granny Theo Mae Beason 1988, his father Dale E. Foster 2002, his Grandfather Cecil G. Foster 2008, and his Grandmother Nevah M. Foster 2019. Also his Dusty kitty 2012 and Shadowa kitty 2018. All who knew Craig are deeply saddened by his sudden passing, but we rest in the comforting arms of the Savior, and are so thankful for the privilege of knowing Craig's love, generous spirit, kindness, and compassion for others. We will meet again....... We love you Craig!
