Craig was born in Seattle, WA on May 24th, 1948 to Robert and Bette Goodell (Munn). He was raised in Hayward, CA and moved to Golden, CO in 1960. He attended Golden High School where he excelled in athletics especially football. Craig graduated in 1966. He attended Arizona State and the University of Colorado. Craig enlisted in the Navy and served in the Submarine Service from 1971-1976. He made six patrols in the North Atlantic aboard the USS James Madison. After being discharged he graduated from CU with a degree in business. He was hired by IBM where he worked for 30 years retiring in 2016. He loved coaching and served as a coach and administrator in the Loveland youth sports program for many years.   Craig is survived by his children Megan Ricci, Sarah Pflieger (Matt) of Loveland and Cameron (Susan) of Denver. He also is survived by his grandchildren Garrett Switer and Avery, Hunter, and Cooper Pflieger all of Loveland. Brothers Mark (Doris) of Fort Collins and Tom (Marcia) of Chandler, AZ and many nieces and nephews. Thanks to his special friends Susan and Tom Chesney and Dave and Susan Boyd for being there for him. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Robin Bailey. Military services will be held on October 19th, 2019 at the Loveland Burial Park at 3:00pm with a reception to follow at the Loveland VFW post 71.
