Cruz C. Banda

Cruz C. Banda, 62, of Parma, Idaho died January 20, 2013 at home of natural causes. He was born March 7, 1950 in cd Acuna Coahuila, Mexico to late Cruz C. Banda and Ninfa C. Banda. He was reared and educated in Mexico, coming to the United States at the age of 21 years.He worked in San Antonio, TX in different jobs, he came to Nyssa, Oregon in 1972 for the fire season, he later returned to TX, he came back 1975, where he met the love of his life Angelita Amador, they got married July 21, 1975. They left to California in 1976 where they worked different jobs, they had two children, Ninfa and Cruz III, they returned to Idaho in 1980where they had two more children Jorge and Nydia. He worked for Wilder Farms, the Obendorf’s and in Nyssa, Oregon for Treasure Valley Produce Co. and JC Watson. In April of 1985 he started working for J.R Simplot Co. until his retirement in April of 2012, He is survived by his wife Angelita A. Banda, his children Ninfa C. Rodriguez (Frank), Cruz V. Banda, Parma, ID, Jorge Banda (Celida) of Caldwell, Nydia A. Banda of Parma, ID. His grandchildren Frankie, Alexis, and Ricky Rodriguez of Parma, Matthew and Issiah of Caldwell, Aylyn, Alex Tamayo and Ebony Banda of Caldwell, he is also survived by three sisters, and one brother; Rosa E. Alderate, Del Rio, Texas, Martha Salazar, Tere Rodriguez and Samuel Banda of San Antonio, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents Cruz and Ninfa Banda, one sister MaElena Banda, and two brothers, Roberto and Oscar Banda. He is also survived by many cousins, nephews and nieces in Texas. He will be greatly missed by all. We love you dad until we meet again. Viewing will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell from 4:00-8:00 PM, the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church (504 Locust Avenue, Nyssa, OR 97913) in Nyssa, Oregon. Burial will follow the service at Parma Cemetery, Parma, ID. Condolences for the family may be given at www.flahifffuneralchapel.com. Service Information
