Byron, GA: Crystal Johnson, 46, went home to be with the Lord on January 15, 2009. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at the Christian Hope Church, on Elberta Rd, in Warner Robins. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM Friday, at the funeral home. Burial will be private. Crystal was born on April 11, 1962, in Macon. She was preceded in death by her father, Glen Smith. She earned her nurses degree from Macon State College and had worked with the Heart of Georgia Hospice in Warner Robins for the past 12 years as a registered nurse. She attended the Christian Hope Church and was a former employee with the CIGNA Insurance Company. Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Jerry â??Butchâ?쳌 Johnson, daughter, Brianna Johnson both of Byron, mother, Marie Smith of Byron, father & mother-in-law, Jerry and Shirley Johnson of Eastman, brother-in-law, Stan Johnson of Eastman, brother & sister â??in-law, Steve & Theresa Johnson of Warner Robins. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
