Curtis Morgan Mann

Curtis Morgan Mann, 67, of Englewood passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Englewood Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born on February 8, 1951 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to the late Spiro and Louise Meyer Mann, he had served in the U.S. Air Force as an airplane mechanic who served one tour in Viet Nam (1971-72.) A resident of Charlotte County for seventeen years coming from New Jersey. A member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1933 in Englewood; he was a member of the Soft Tip Dart League and billiard league. He loved riding his Harley. Curt always made friends where ever he went, he was a huge Green Bay Packer fan. He is pre-deceased by a brother: Phillip Meyer. Survivors include his loving wife of twenty-five years: Linda P. Mann of Englewood, Florida; one son: Todd A. Mann of Englewood, Florida; one daughter: Elissa Mann of Wilson, Pennsylvania; two step-children: Shannon Oblen of Hackettstown, New Jersey and Russell Dennis of Easton, Pennsylvania; two sisters: Linda Snyder of Atlantic Highland, New Jersey; Nora Mann of Denville, New Jersey; one grandson: C.J. Fazio of Wilson, Pennsylvania; and three nephews: Marc and Mike Snyder and Dareos Meyer. Committal service will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 1:30 PM at Sarasota National VA Cemetery with Air Force Honors to follow. Contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors or the Myeloma Research. Englewood Community Funeral Home with Private Crematory has been selected to handle arrangements.
