Cutler Holt

Greensboro Cutler Clyde Holt, 91, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on December 17, 2011. Cutler was born on September 28, 1920 in Greensboro to Henry Clyde and Bertha Spencer Holt. Cutler's funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Tuesday, December 20 at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home with the interment following at Guilford Memorial Park. Cutler was an Army Veteran of WWII active in the Pacific. He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad in 1981 with 35 years of service. He enjoyed his model trains, fishing, bowling, stamp collection and he was a lifetime member of the VFW. Cutler was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Pauline Chrismon Holt; daughters, Carolyn (Frank) Mocnik of Fayetteville, NC, Becky (Carl) Bradham of Lexington, SC; grandchildren Mark (Dawn) Mocnik of Wake Forest, NC, Kristin Mocnik of Hoboken, NJ; great grandchildren Matt and Caleb Mocnik; and his sister Gwendolyn (Gwen) Holt. The family would like to give special thanks to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro and caregivers Travis Hunnicutt and John Langdon. The family will receive friends from 5 ' 7 pm Monday at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home.
