Adair Funeral Home - Dodge
Cynthia "Cindy" Hope Friedman
May 28th, 1957 - October 12th, 2018
Cynthia, at the age of 61, passed from this life on October 12, 2018 in Tucson, AZ. Born in Chicago, IL on May 28, 1957. She moved to Minneapolis, MN with her loving family and lived there until 2005. At that time, her beloved parents, Dorothy (nee Hafer) and Sherman (both deceased) moved with Cindy to Tucson to be near her loving brother Dr. Richard Friedman. Cynthia is survived by her brother, her aunt Bernice Berger (late Seymour) and cousins Michelle Sarab, Robin Goldstein, Karen Kaplan and families. Cindy was always smiling, gregarious and friendly to all she met. Her greatest joys in life came from her numerous cats, dogs and birds. She loved music, especially Broadway musical tunes that she would always be singing in her beautiful voice no matter where she was. She loved writing poems, reciting them and playing piano to entertain others. Cindy's sweet smile, melodic voice and great hugs will be deeply and forever missed. A Memorial and Celebration of Cynthia's life will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the home of Richard Friedman, 4732 N. Tomnitz Pl, Tucson, AZ 85750. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness of Southern Arizona, 6122 E 22nd St, Tucson, AZ 85711-5229. ARRANGEMENTS BY ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, DODGE CHAPEL.
