Cynthia Jane Morgan
December 21st, 1951 - September 17th, 2024
Cindy Morgan, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Charleston, SC surrounded by family on September 17, 2024. She was 72 years old.
Born and raised in Belle Vernon, PA, Cindy graduated from BVA High School in 1970. Throughout her life, she was known for her warm heart, creative spirit, and dedication to her family. She is survived by her sister Dorothy Reed and brother, Daniel Reed of Belle Vernon, PA.
Cindy married and is survived by her high school sweetheart, Bill Morgan - meeting at 15 while rollerskating. They shared 57 joyous years together. Cindy is survived by her daughter Ginger (Morgan) Conrad and son-in-law, Frank Conrad, of Charleston, SC. She also cherished her role as a grandma to Kayla Conrad.
A passionate artisan, Cindy spent countless hours crafting beautiful jewelry from semi-precious stones and various gems. She also delighted in tending to her garden, nurturing her plants, and creating a haven for Monarch butterflies and Eastern Black Swallowtails, which she raised and released with care. On sunny days, you could find her swinging on her favorite swing, savoring the beauty of nature around her.
Cindy will be deeply missed by all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of love, creativity, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys in life. As she would say - see the positive in everything.
Cindy was preceded in death by parents LaVonne and Paul Reed and brother Scott Reed.
The family asks for donations in to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. in lieu of flowers.
