Dale William Irving, age78, of Boise, died­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­, Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Graveside services will be held at Dry Creek Cemetery, Boise, on Wednesday. October 12, 2022 at 2:30 PM. Dale was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on April 18, 1944 to William and Mildred Irving. His father was a steam fitter and he lived in numerous cities throughout the northwest before settling in Boise in 1958. Dale attended South Jr. High School and Borah High School. Dale married his first wife, Connie D’Orazio, on July 1, 1961 in Boise. They had two children, Todd William and Teresa Marie. Their marriage ended in 1969. He met his second wife, Pamela Sue Baldwin, in 1979. They were married on January 15, 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada and he accepted into his family, daughter Crystal Dawn Baldwin. He painted the town as owner and operator of Owyhee Desert Painting Company. Dale was a true Idahoan and loved the great outdoors. Many happy hours were spent with family and friends, camping, hunting, fishing, and boating. He loved working on old cars, especially his 1955 Studebaker pick-up, and was always creating, building, or remodeling something. He loved driving and drove over 250,000 miles on road trips across the U.S. and Canada. He will truly be missed by his family and friends. Dale is survived by his sister Glenna Pooley of Meridian, his son Todd Irving and Crista Cory of Boise, his daughter, Teresa Irving-McCarthy of Boise, his daughter Crystal Baldwin of Meridian, 6 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. The family gives special thanks to the nursing staff at Boise St. Luke’s Hospital, Dr. Norman Zuckerman, the staff at Boise St. Luke’s Cancer Institute, and St. Luke’s Hospice. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the St. Luke’s Cancer Institute.
