Dale McFarland

Dale Scott McFarland passed away at Sky Ridge Medical Center in Lone Tree, Co on August 4, 2009. He was 46 years old. Dale was born June 25, 1963 in Denver, Co to David and Sharon (Edwards) McFarland. Dale grew up in Lakewood, Co where he attended school. He was baptized in the Catholic Faith. He was diagnosed with with diabetes when he was a teenager. He started bowling at an early age. He enjoyed bowling and teaching others how to bowl. He worked as a bowling machine mechanic at bowling centers in Grand Junction, Lakewood, Denver and Las Vegas, NV. He had to give up bowling and being a mechanic when he had a heart attack in 2000. He was hospitalized in February 2009 when he was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure. Preceeding Dale in death are his father David, grandparents Rosa (Edwards) Bray and Walter Edwards step grandfather Chester Bray, grandparents Roy and Florence McFarland and in-laws Judy and George Hancock. He is survived by his wife Kari of 27 years,his son Jeremiah, mother Sharon, sister Lois and (Daniel) Mason, Glenda (Bray) and Phil Hatton, Wilma (Bray) and Harvey Williams, John (Richard) Bray, nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends and special friends Bill Greene and Mike and Tony Richardson. Dale was cremated and graveside services will be held at a later date. Donations can be made to the American Diabetes Associations.
