Dallas Anderson
March 1st, 1958 - November 4th, 2013
Dallas Wayne Anderson, 55, of Nampa, passed away on November 4, 2013, with his family by his side after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Danville, Illinois, in 1958, Dallas moved with his family to Caldwell, Idaho, in 1963. He grew up in Caldwell and graduated from Caldwell High School in 1976, having been involved in band, auto mechanics and Boy Scouts. He married Kimberly, the love of his life, in Feb 2000; the two celebrated their 13th anniversary this year. Dallas’ love of music, ability to fix almost anything and joy in working with others were mainstays throughout his life. He continued as a drummer and singer in bands through the 1990s, worked for the City of Nampa for several years, was co-owner of Boise Outdoor Power Equipment which was sold in 2002, and for the past ten years he enjoyed working in sales and finance at Tom Scott Toyota. He will be remembered as a compassionate person who cared deeply for others and put their needs first. Always a gentleman, Dallas passed those traits on to his son, Jason. In all areas of his life, Dallas’ sense of humor shone through. He was an excellent story-teller, was always quick to offer up a pun and delighted in others’ reactions to the fake coffee spill on his desk at Tom Scott. In his spare time, Dallas could be found creating yard art with a humorous flair, riding his motorcycle, working with wood or enjoying the company of friends and family. Dallas is survived by his wife, Kimberly and son Jason McAdam; mother Helen (Harper) Anderson; sisters Kathy Heitz, Dee Fouraker, Bev (Red) Robinson, Valerie (Eric) Wallace, Theresa Anderson (Derek Larson); brother Steven (Sheila) Anderson; brother-in-law Thomas Proctor, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by their daughter Olivia, father Ray “Andy” Anderson, one niece, and one nephew. A memorial celebration of Dallas’ life will be held on Sunday, November 10, at 1:00 p.m. at the College of Idaho Chapel, 2112 Cleveland Boulevard, in Caldwell. Memorial gifts in Dallas’ honor may be made to Encompass Home Health Hospice at 512 N Kings Rd, Nampa, ID 83687 or to other charities.

We Entrusted Dallas Anderson's Care To
Accent Funeral Home
A local landmark in Meridian, Accent Funeral Home has been serving the community since 1986. The business was first established with a vision to offer services in a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. This vision is reflected in our building, a Tudor-style home built in 1938 for a local postman. When remodeling the house to accommodate the funeral home, much care was taken to preserve the original architectural integrity of the building. The Accent Funeral Home holds a special relationship with the Meridian community and is sensitive to the area’s changing needs, providing service and friendship to comfort those we serve....
