Dallas Wayne Carpenter 1943-2011 Dallas was born on April 21, 1943, in Louisville, KY. He was raised to be a Kentucky Gentleman, and he demonstrated his kindness to all. One of the proudest moments he had as a little boy, was having his picture taken on a pony. He was always smiling and full of fun. He attended Pleasure Ridge High School, and graduated in 1961 and attended classes at the University of Louisville. Professionally, he worked in insurance, real estate, and medical supplies. He married Sherry Robinson in 1967, and they had a son, Dallas, II and a daughter, Kimberly Dawn. Dallas was a loving and devoted father. His family that survives are: Kimberly Gaus, (Daughter), Mavreck Gaus (Grandson), Max Gaus (Grandson) Derek Gaus (Son-in-law). Dallas Carpenter II (Son), Josh Carpenter (Grandson) and Bryce Carpenter (Grandson) Loving Brother: to Jeanette Brewer Devoted Uncle: to Delayna Cowley Nestell And PaPaw to: Isabella Grace Nestell and Victoria Faith Nestell Dallas loved being a grandfather to each of his grandchildren. He loved to play with each of them. They loved him so much. He was a wonderful friend to so many people. He could make you laugh, and that was his gift. He always wanted to make you smile or feel important. From the beginning...to the end of our life...what matters most is what happens in between… What matters is how we live...and love...Dallas loved...and was loved… OUR FAMILY HAS BEEN BLESSED TO HAVE DALLAS… IN OUR LIVES.
