Dallas Nicole Sperow

Dallas Nicole Sperow, 22, of Hagaman, passed away unexpectedly Monday, October 26, 2015 at home. Born November 27, 1992, in Schenectady, she was the daughter of George Sperow and Pamela Ross. A lifelong resident of the area; graduating from Amsterdam High School, class of 2010. Dallas also attended HFM Boces in Johnstown, receiving her diploma in cosmetology. Dallas worked as the assistant manager at Things Remembered in the Rotterdam Mall, and previously worked in the mall at The Avenue. She was an avid animal lover who volunteered often for the Regional Animal Shelter; as well as caring not only for her own dog, but for many foster dogs at home. Dallas was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Besides her parents, Dallas is survived by her loving family; brother, Patrick Sperow (Kaytee Sawyer); Grandfather, Henry Ross, Sr.; Grandmother, Roberta Hutt; Aunts; Sandy, Cindi; who also was her Godmother, Mindy, Missy, Maria, Carla and Sue; Uncle, Beaver Ross; and her loving Beagle, Sam (Foofy). Dallas is also survived by several cousins. She was predeceased by her grandmother, Jackey Ross and grandfather, Orville Hutt (Bud). Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, with Pastor William T. Hodgetts, Jr. presiding. Calling hours to which family and friends may attend will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2015 at the funeral home.
