Dan C. Bailey

Danny C Bailey, 72, of Land O Lakes, Florida passed away Wednesday evening, September 16, 2020 at St Joseph’s Hospital North. He was born September 13, 1948 in Fort Madison, Iowa, a son of Carrol and Lucille (Holmes) Bailey. In 1968, he married Sandra (Sandy) Bauswell, they were together 52 years. Dan retired in 2016 from Promedica, Inc., in Tampa, Florida after 20 years of service. He loved golfing, fishing, shooting pool and spending time with friends, neighbors and family. He is survived by his wife, Sandra (Sandy) Bailey; his son, Todd (Amy) Bailey; two grandchildren, Austin (Nicole) Bailey, and Jenessa Bailey, all of Land O Lakes, Florida; one brother, Phillip Bailey of Denmark, Iowa; three sisters, Barb Bailey (Kevin Beach), Kim Bailey, and Karen (Lyndon) Decker, all of Fort Madison; one sister-in-law, Caroline Bailey of Keosauqua, Iowa; and four brothers-in-law, Dennis De Kraai of Fort Madison, Iowa; Bob (Bonnie) Bauswell of Pahrump, Nevada, Ron (Sandy) Bauswell of Galesburg, Illinois, and George (Lisa) Bauswell of Fort Madison, Iowa, as well as several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Carrol, his mother Lucille, his sister Paula De Kraai, and one brother, Mike Bailey. Due to COVID 19, for the safety of immediate family, there will be a private service held at 2:00 pm ET on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Loyless Funeral Home, Land O Lakes, Florida.
