Dan O'Shea Dan Louis O’Shea, “Danny” passed away, surrounded by family and friends on December 10, 2014 in Springfield, Oregon at the age of 73 due to cancer. He was born On October 16, 1941 in Yankton, South Dakota to Louis and Sylvia (Freng) O’Shea. He married Carol Ann Crawford on February 14, 1980 in Eugene, OR. They had 2 children. He retired from the Lane School District as a Physical Education Instructor and 2nd Grade Teacher. Dan enjoyed all sports, especially the Duck’s and in his younger years he loved fishing and hunting in South Dakota. Dan loved his students, teaching, and all of his dear friends and family who will all miss him deeply. Dan is survived by his wife, Carol O’Shea, of Eugene, Oregon, his sons, Tim O’Shea of Eugene, OR and Brady O’Shea (Lindsey) of the San Francisco area, CA, brother, David O’Shea (Edwina) of Harrisburg, OR, 1 niece, 2 nephews and numerous family in South Dakota. A Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Lane Memorial Funeral Home, 5300 W 11th Ave. Eugene, Oregon with a reception to follow.
