Mrs. Dana Rae Richardson Brown, 85,of Missoula, MT, formally of Wilder, ID entered heaven's gates on Thursday, August 31, the one-year anniversary of her beloved husband Russell's and great-grandchild, Noah Joseph's departure from this life. Born on August 9, 1932 in Pocatello, ID, where she was raised, she met her husband, Russell while working in an appliance store. After a 1-year stay in Seattle, WA, they settled down on the family farm in Wilder, ID. Dana and Russell raised 5 children, 4 boys and 1 girl, worked for JR Simplot for 20 years, then retired. She served in numerous positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including Relief Society, Young Women, Primary, and as a Stake Missionary. After Retirement, they moved to Missoula, MT where they spent the last 12-13 years of their lives with their daughter, Janet and son-in-law, Don. Dana is preceded in death by her parents, John Doyle and Eva Richardson; brothers, Bobby Dean and Doyle; sister, Millie; son, Terry Lee; and great grandson, Noah Joseph. She is survived by her 3 sons, Morris (Naomi) of Wilder, ID, Ronald (Laura) of Parma, ID, Douglas (Shirley) of Boise, ID, and daughter, Janet (Don) Calkins of Missoula, MT, 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters: Betty Zundel of Pocatello, ID, Cleone (Bob) Tanner of Cathlamet, WA, and Joan (John) Hennelly of North Webster, IN. Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 708 West Idaho, Homedale, ID at 11 AM with a viewing from 10-11 AM on Saturday, Sept 9, 2017. Graveside will follow at Wilder Cemetery. Services are under the care of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Homedale. Condolences can be given at www.flahifffuneralchapel.com Service Information
