Daniel "Dan" Acuna
August 18th, 1943 - January 31st, 2020
Daniel Anthony Acuna Born August 18, 1943 to Antonio and Amelia Acuna, passed away January 31, 2020; he was raised in a small town called Tehachapi. You blink and you've passed it, but in this small town he was a football star loved by all his classmates. He joined the Army right after high school then got an early release to attend UNR where he played football and got his business degree. While living in Reno he met someone special and got married, and moved his family to Sacramento then Chico. While living in Chico he started a bail business, learned how to golf and became obsessed with Tony Lama boots. Dan loved spending time with his children Aaron and Angelique and his 5 grandchildren Kyle, Kevin, Haley, Ryan, and Chance. He enjoyed watching all sports and going to his favorite local bar for happy hour. Always the life of the party, he will be missed.
