Daniel Kurt Beaumont

Daniel Kurt Beaumont, age 69, of Dorchester S.C., loving husband of Nancy E. Beaumont for 24 years, entered into eternal rest on March 9, 2021, and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Born on October 19, 1951 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he was the son of the late Donald C. Beaumont and Frances (Schopp) Beaumont. Daniel worked for many years in Wisconsin and South Carolina, was a member of several community enrichment projects over his lifetime including volunteering at local food pantries and outreach missions, was a multi-year volunteer of the Convoy of Hope in Charleston, SC, was active in facilitating arts programs for local libraries and traveled overseas for church mission trips over the years. He enjoyed meeting new people and took an active interest in what they enjoyed. He was a talented craftsman in woodworking, building projects, drawing, painting, and any related craft. He had a keen ability to learn new skills from each experience just by helping others in his community. Daniel is survived by sisters Bonnie Acker, Deborah Brunette and Karen Kleppin, brothers Dale Beaumont and Gerald Beaumont, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family who will all miss his cheerful smile and spirit. He will be missed by his step-daughter Heather and grandchildren Austin and Lynsea who will miss their fun-loving and artistic grandfather. He was an active, current member of his church family at “The Way, The Truth, and the Life Christian Outreach” of S.C. His pastor, friends and fellow church members will all remember his positive and kind Christian spirit in a memorial service at a later date.
