Daniel F. Fox, Jr. On Sunday March 15, 2015, Dan left our world to join our Lord in heaven. He was born to Daniel Fox and Dorthea Norris in McKeesport PA on September 17, 1929. Following his honorable service in the US Navy, he attended the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned his Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Electrical Engineering. Dan then worked as a Nuclear Engineer at Westinghouse, and at the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission. In addition to his many talents he enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son Daniel. Following his retirement, he and his beloved wife Joan Patricia Fey, moved back to St. Petersburg where they spent their retirement years. He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter Patricia. In addition to his wife of 64 years, he is survived by sons Daniel and David, daughter Susan, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Raphael Church, 1376 Snell Isle Blvd NE, St Petersburg, FL. Interment will follow Bay Pines National Cemetery at 1:30 P.M. with United States Navy Honors.
