Murphey, Daniel H. ?Dan?, 57, a St. Petersburg native, died Tuesday, July 16th, 2002 after a long struggle with a chronic illness. He was a graduate of Northeast High School and Florida State University School of Pharmacy. He was a Pharmacist in St. Petersburg until complications of his chronic illness precluded further professional activity. He is survived by a sister, Jane C. Murphey of Natick, MA and a brother, James P. Murphey of Logan, UT. The family requests that memorial contributions in his memory be made to The Carter Center, Office of Development, One Copenhill, Atlanta, GA 30307. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel.
