Daniel J. "Dan" O'Connell, 76, of West Deptford, New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. Legacy He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Dan loved to be around his family especially his grandchildren and they loved to be around him. With his contagious laughter, his uncanny memory and outgoing spirit., he was always the life of the party. Dan enjoyed gardening, Italian food, Irish music (Libations) and his pets. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the AOH Gloucester County Division 1. Family He is the beloved husband of 47 wonderful years to Mary Ann J. O'Connell (nee Morrell). Devoted father of Meghan O'Connell Whipkey (Patrick). Treasured grand father to Kayleigh, Callahan, and Maura. Son of the late Catherine and Jerome O'Connell. Dear brother of Jerome (Lyn). He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Farewell Tribute Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Wednesday, January 4th from 4:00PM to 6:00PM and Thursday, January 5th from 9:00AM to 10:00AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home - Woodbury, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096. Funeral Mass at 11:00AM in Holy Angels Parish at St Matthew's Church 4th & Monument Ave. NATIONAL PARK, NJ. Interment will be at a later date .
