Daniel Lee Thompson passed away at home on Sept. 22, 2012 after a courageous battle for life. Dan lived life to the fullest. Never complaining or wanting anyone to feel bad for him, he was his funny, loving self right to the end. A much-loved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend - Dan is survived by his wife, Helen; sons, Joshua (Jessica) and Jeremy; new granddaughter, Haleigh; sisters, Lynda (Louis) and Barbara (Greg); many loving nieces and nephews, a wide circle of friends and his beloved pets Brownie, Oreo, and Sunset. Dan served his country in the U.S. Army and will be interred at the Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent. A private memorial will be held. Arrangements by Edwards Memorial 253-566-1008
