Daniel Horras Walker

Obituary Daniel 'Danny' Horras Walker lost his battle to colon cancer on Feb.19, 2014. Born June 14, 1951 to Mary Maxine Horras Walker and the late Urban Martin Walker in Ottumwa, Ia, second son of five children. His early childhood years were spent living on the family dairy. At 11, the family moved to California where he met the love of his life, Deborah and in 1993 they moved their family to Colorado Springs, Co. After a long career in construction, Danny retired as a heavy equipment operator. He was passionate about Harley Davidson Motorcycles and through the years spent much of his time riding the country on his bike. He loved living in and near the mountains of Colorado. A loving husband, son, father, brother, uncle and friend, Danny is survived by his wife, Deborah, mother Maxine Walker; brothers John, Greg and Tom and sister Susanne; children, Thomas Harley Davidson Walker, Jaime Shafer, Breanna Raymond and Eric Christopher. He was Grampa to Dustin, Danielle, Cyrus, Joshua, Aubrey, Kayli and McKenna.
