On Monday, June 10, 2024, Daniel “Danny” Zambrano, beloved family member passed away at the young age of 60.
Daniel was born on June 23, 1963, in Albuquerque, NM to Carmen Serafin and Frank Zambrano. Daniel met his loving significant other Nancy Akers on April 28, 2008, whom he spent the last 16 years of his life with. They raised and homed multiple animals throughout the years together as well as assisting and taking care of great-grandchildren.
Daniel had a passion to always use his hands, whether you found him with a rake, tools or a deck of cards in his hands he was always busy using them. Daniel was often always referred to as the “card guy” or the “one that can do tricks with his cards”. He loved making people laugh with his tricks and riddles. More importantly Daniel was kind and respectful to all those he encountered throughout his lifetime. He was the helping hand you didn’t know you needed but were thankful he was there when you did need him. Daniel was also your local non-signed vocalist; he could be caught daily singing some of his all-time favorite songs “Two Tickets to Paradise” by Eddie Money or “El Paso” by Marty Robbins. Daniel will forever be remembered as a hard worker, respectful to others, kind to all, funny sense of humor and most importantly the man with the hands that never stopped helping others.
Daniel was preceded in death by his mother, Carmen, his father Frank, his sister Yvonne, and his brother Dave. He is survived by his significant other of 16 years Nancy Akers, inherited granddaughter Alexis Gallegos, inherited great-grandchildren Sebastian Jabarkhail, Hermione Jabarkhail and Ava Gallegos. Daniel also is survived by 11 brothers, sisters and their spouses; Ben (brother), John (brother) and Carolyn (spouse), Virginia (sister), Jerry (brother), Maryann (sister) and Tony Alverez (spouse), Pat (brother) and Lorie (spouse), Michael (brother) and Vickie (spouse), Joe (brother) and Ruth (spouse), Tony (brother), Rick (brother) and Anna (spouse), Sam (brother) and Chell (spouse).
