Danny Leon Bennett

Danny Bennett, 75 gained his Angel wings on September 15, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center after a brief illness. Danny was born in Alabama on July 13, 1941 to the late Paul and Ruby Bennett. A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 2:00pm at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Chapel 213 West Mountain Street, Kernersville, NC. Danny was survived by son Danny Bennett and his wife Sue of Colonial Heights, Va.; daughter, Michelle Cerezo of Elkton, MD. Grandchildren; Kathleen Hoopingarner, Phillip and Andrew Bennett and Elizabeth Baker, Nicole Kirk, and Eric Cerezo, 8 Great-grandchildren. He had a very special Aunt Dolly Moore, she was more like a sister to him and they enjoyed many travels together. Danny traveled the world and he loved to entertain. He enjoyed the company of his family and many friends. He had many passions, gardening and cribbage playing just to name a few. The loves of his life were his cats, Happy and Lucy.
