Dannye G Porterfield

PORTERFIELD, Dannye G., 74, of Tampa went to be with our Lord on Saturday September 8, 2012. She was born in Wichita Falls, TX and moved to FL in 1956. She was a Mary Kay consultant for many years and recently worked with A-1 Contracting in Tampa. Dannye was a member of Discovery Christian Church, the church choir and Eastern Star. She was a former Admiral of the Ybor City Navy of the Alcalde Association. She is preceded in death by her husband Edwin G. Porterfield. She is survived by daughters; Melody Davis and her husband Thomas Monteleone of Land O’ Lakes, Renee Schultz and her husband Larry of Port Charlotte; son, J. Kevin Davis II of Canton, NC; daughter-in-law, Rhondda Porterfield of Wesley Chapel; brother, Jon Gordon and his wife Sarah of Wichita Falls, TX; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm at Loyless Funeral Home on Sunday September 16, 2012. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
