Daon Patrice Carlson
March 17th, 1933 - March 13th, 2018
Daon passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, March 13th just 4 days before her 85th birthday. She lived a full life. A native Oregonian, she loved the Portland Rose Festival and the Oregon coast. She was a graduate of Grant High School class of 1950. She was married in 1956 for 62 years to Donald Carlson. She was a great artist and an expert in the lost art of cursive handwriting and calligraphy. She loved her family and had a kind spirit and a most generous heart. She is survived by her husband, 2 children, 3 grand children and 5 great grand children. She will be laid to rest in Willamette National Cemetery on Tuesday March 20th.
