Darby Eugene Fish
March 14th, 1960 - September 26th, 2021
Darby Eugene Fish unexpectedly passed away on September 26, 2021, with Linda at his side. Darby was born March 14, 1960 to Donald and Nancy Fish in Moscow, Idaho. He graduated high school from Mt. Si High School in Snoqualmie, Washington in 1978. He registered for the United States Navy prior to his graduation in 1978. He was proud to serve his country and was Honorably Discharged in 1982. He enjoyed his family and moved many places in his life. He is survived by his Father and Mother, Donald and Nancy Fish of Draper, Utah and two sisters: Dama (Jeff) Bisnett of Camano Island, Washington and Deanna Fish and Troy Farnsworth of Draper, Utah and nieces Marissa Boyer (Leisa Smith) of South Jordan, Utah and Jessica (Jeff) Frank of Lake Stevens. Washington and Shauna Ayers (Ted Wallace) of Taylorsville, Utah. He was preceded in death by his younger sister: Debbie Beaver of Kingman, Arizona. Darby will be forever remembered by his family as the most special son and brother. He loved his high school wrestling and football efforts, developed an interest in scuba diving, pursued a short career in the Navy, and continued to be a hard worker in a variety of different endeavors. His love of life, fierce loyalty, and the simple joy he brought to his family and friends will be truly missed but always reminisced in quiet moments. Darby enjoyed scuba diving and being outdoors. He enjoyed camping and loving life. He met his wife, Linda Scott, in Colorado. He brought great joy and fun to her and her family. The kids: Derek Scott (Tisha Zarbock) of Peyton, Colorado and Alysia Scott of Washington, D.C. were loved and kidded by him daily. They really got to experience such joy and laughter all the time with Darby. He would never hesitate to make you laugh and throw your hands up in fun. He would paint your steps “pink” and hide “Milkbones” in care packages for Alysia. He never ceased to smile or laugh or tell you he loved you. He taught us how to laugh at ourselves and have fun and smile again. The kids were everything to him and he took great pride in each one of them. He was also welcomed to the family by Barney and Marlene Seward of Parker, Colorado as their son-in-law. He would do anything for anybody. He loved working with his hands and taking care of all of us. He loved with all his heart. There was never a moment that people wondered if he was genuine and truly cared about you. He will be greatly missed but know he is, with all of us, in our hearts.
