Darryl Clinton Bailey

Mr. Darryl Clinton Bailey, age 59, a resident of Lakeland, Florida passed away Monday, December 4, 2023 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center surrounded by his family. Mr. Bailey was born November 2, 1964 in Winter Haven, Florida to John Clinton and Doris Lanell (Plant) Bailey. He was a lifetime Polk County resident and attended Berea Baptist Church in Auburndale. Darryl attended Auburndale High School where he played football & baseball. He enjoyed fishing, tinkering around the house, motorcycle riding and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his father. Darryl is survived by his loving family, son – Dustin Shane Bailey and wife Jordan of Lakeland, Florida; mother – Doris Stewart and husband James of Lakeland, Florida; sister – Sheri Bailey of Marianna, Florida; 2 nephews – Devin Bailey & Deric Bailey; also several aunts, uncles, cousins & friends. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, December 16th at Kersey Funeral Home with a gathering beginning at 1pm at the funeral home.
