Darwin "Beau" Smith passed away suddenly the morning of March 15th. Beau was born in Exeter, CA to Corinne and Wesley Smith. His roots, deeply set in Californias heartland, provided Beau with an earthly foundation and caring soul to all he encountered. He met his wife of almost 54 years, Pat, while attending Sacramento State College. Beau was a true family man placing the needs and happiness of his family above all else. A contagiously happy spirit that spread to even those that he came in brief contact with. He also shared an enthusiasm for most all sports with those he loved but carried a passion for baseball above all others. After a long executive career in Food Sales, he retired to the ATT Field as an usher for the San Francisco Giants. His examples, life lessons, and passions are carried on by his three sons Rod, Aaron and Garrett as well as his eight grandchildren. He will be greatly missed, but his values will be carried forward for many generations.
