David C. Batey Jr.
February 16th, 1949 - June 17th, 2018
David C. Batey Jr., of Delafield, passed away on Father’s day, Sunday, June 17, 2018 at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 69. He was born in Newton, MA on February 16, 1949, the son of David Sr. and Susan (Dignam) Batey. David married Susan in 1995. He graduated from Marquette University and began his career as an accountant. For 30 years, David worked for Charles Realty Corp from which he retired in 2006. David loved astronomy, flying remote control planes, and cherished his time with his family. David will be deeply missed by his wife of 22 years, Susan; son, David (Theresa) Tengler; grandchildren, Caleb Matthew, Zachary Joel, and Annabelle Lynn; sister, Nancy McCarthy of MA; brothers-in-law, William (Donna) Thurwachter of Scottsdale, AZ and Todd (Midori) Thurwachter of Vienna, VA; and sister-in-law, Amy (Steve) Seering of Eagan, MN. The visitation for David will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the 2:30 p.m. memorial service at White Stone Community Church, 2517 N. Dousman Rd. Oconomowoc, WI 53066. Private burial will take place at Salem Cemetery in Wales. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the KM Education Foundation, 563 A.J. Allen Circle Wales, WI 53183.
