David Lee Bledsoe

David Lee Bledsoe, 56, of Kingsport passed away on Friday, November 27, 2015 at his residence with his family by his side. David was a lifelong resident of Kingsport and was an employee of Long Foundation of Nashville for 38 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Bledsoe. Survivors include his loving wife Michelle Starnes Bledsoe of the home; his mother, Ollie Bledsoe; daughter, Tammy (Bobby) Simpson; two sons, David "DJ" (Crystal) Bledsoe, and Robert "Bob" (Leshira) Bledsoe; two stepsons, Justin (Logan) Starnes and John Ratliff III; grandchildren, Mercedez, Carsen Simpson, Hope, James Ryan, Jadon Bledsoe, Autumn, Taylor, Isaiah, Devan (Alfalfa) Marshall, Savannah Arnold; step-grandchildren, Aaron , Preston, Gracie Castillo; three sisters, June Riner, Geraldine (Ernest) Bowlin, Dora "Dot" (Junior) Smith; two brothers, Earl (Sherry) Bledsoe and Jeff Bledsoe; special mother- in- law, Jo Hickman; along with several aunts, uncles, cousin, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm on Monday, November 30, 2015 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport or friends may also call anytime at 234 Carters Valley Gardens or 1753 Harris Ave., Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 8 pm with Jim Cassell, officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Old Kingsport Cemetery, Kingsport, TN. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family would like to extend special thanks to Wellmont Hospice especially Becky; Long Foundation and his friends at Rainbow Motors.
